CLEAR HISTORY, the new HBO television series created by Larry David and starring Jonathan Hamm, will feature the use of William DeVaughn's 1973 #1 R&B/#3 Pop hit "Be Thankful For What You Got" in its first episode.  "Be Thankful For What You Got" has been previously tapped by a number of well known television shows and movies, including Radio, The Wire, La Mission, Martin and The Bernie Mac Show.  The use in CLEAR HISTORY will also feature a television soundtrack album, including hits by Chicago, Earth, Wind & Fire, The Doobie Brothers and The Allman Brothers as well as "Be Thankful For What You Got".

Jodeci's Jodeci's "Feenin'" Used in NEW GIRL Episode

Jodeci's Top 20 R&B single "Feenin'" appears in an episode of the hit Fox Television series NEW GIRL, starring Zooey Deschanel, which aired on January 29, 2013.  "Feenin'" was originally included on the 1994 album Diary Of A Mad Band and was sampled by Lil' Wayne in the song "Leather So Soft".  The use of "Feenin'" in NEW GIRL precedes an additional use in the forthcoming motion picture Baggage Claim, which is scheduled for release on 20th Century Fox Pictures in the Fall of 2013.

Jim Croce's Jim Croce's "I Got A Name" featured in DJANGO UNCHAINED

The new hit Quentin Tarrantino movie DJANGO UNCHAINED, starring Leonardo DeCaprio, Jaime Foxx and Samuel Jackson, features a clip of Jim Croce's Top 10 Pop hit "I Got A Name".  This is the second significant motion picture use of "I Got A Name", which was used in the film The Ice Storm, but comes on the heels of a significant commercial use of "I Got A Name" for Re/Max real estate.  "I Got A Name" is the only non-Jim Croce penned hit from the legendary 70's artist's career, which also included "Bad, Bad Leroy Brown", "Time In A Bottle", "You Don't Mess Around With Jim" and "I'll Have To Say I Love You In A Song".

Jim Croce's 1971 Top 10 recording "I Got A Name" is part of a 2012 national television advertising campaign for the realty company RE/MAX, the conglomerate realtor company.  "I Got A Name" is one of the seminal hits from Jim Croce's recording career, which also included the hits "Bad, Bad Leroy Brown", "Time In A Bottle" and "You Don't Mess Around With Jim".  "I Got A Name" has been used in a number of recent motion pictures including The Ice Storm and Invincible.  This is the first commercial use of "I Got A Name" in the 40-year history of the song.
